It adapts what H3LIX may remember or reveal according to who is present and what the owner has authorised. The owner can protect exact secrets, whole information categories and person-specific contexts.
Silence, withholding and non-persistence are first-class capabilities. When a boundary applies, VEIL can omit information instead of treating disclosure as the default.
